Everyday things: they are immediate in our surroundings.
They are anti-heroic. And yet, although we encounter and
utilize them on a daily basis, our relations remain acutely
deferred. They dissolve into our peripheries. But it is
precisely because they are trivial that they are precious
and essential.
Presence has no literal form. It might be the atmosphere
that surrounds a picture, the specific proposition of a
rectangle, the low resolution of a copy that does not
embody the original, the sculpture that sits quietly in a
corner, hoping to be ignored.
People, objects, places. What is presence if not the
suggestion of these?
Exhibition continues
Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th February 11:00 – 17:00
